An essay exploring the idea of immortality and ephemerality.

Notes from Yijun Wang:
“The concept of immortality and eternity always confuses and terrifies us. Peixuan invited me to be the voiceover for this project because our idea of immortality and eternity is so different from what Socrates talks about in Phaedo. Homosapiens have only occupied the Earth for around 300,000 years, which, compares to the age of the Earth, is like the last few days of a 100-year-old man. We try to disregard the words of ancient wisdom and look at their physical embodiment in the book form that is perishable and gets lost in time.”
